Ulumbarra Theatre

Bendigo’s Ulumbarra Theatre rises from within the walls of the City’s 1860’s Sandhurst Gaol. Meaning ‘gather together’ or ‘meeting place’ in the language of the local indigenous people, Ulumbarra blends heritage and modern elements beautifully offering distinctive state-of-the-art performance and event spaces.

With an auditorium capacity of 950 there are first class backstage facilities, ticketing and technical staff break out options are available and include expansive foyers, adjoining studios and modern meeting rooms.
